Question: Please help diagnose, I am sick!?
I am having alot of pain in my throat, ears, and teeth!. The teeth is because I have had a cavity and the dentist filled it but the pain is unbearable where I was taking 800 mg of motrin or a vicodin and it wasn't really touching the pain (this is why I don't think it was only a cavity)!. I went back today and he was baffled and put me on penicilin thinking I may have an infection!. Since this aftertoon my throat has hurt so bad to the point where I can't really swallow (almost choked on gum I swalled, wouldn't go down) and it feels like my throat is closing up, (never felt like this before, not like a sore throat)!. May I have strept throat or something else!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

first check out the web md website (link included in references) to diagnose your symptomes - they have a "symptom checker", where you click on a body part and determine whats wrong; then they provide you with possible illnesses you might have!. i strongly recommend that you see a doctor - if you feel like your throat is closing up, you might have a respiratory attack and it can be deadly!.

You might!.!.!.!.but since you JUST got a penicillin shot today, you actually might be allergic to it!. please watch it, and if you can't swallow, call a Dr!. and tell them you think you're having an allergic reaction!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Yes, you may have stept throat, but you should deffenitly go to your doctor and figure out what the correct diagnoses is!.
Go AS SOON AS POSSIBLE becuase if your throat closes up you wont be able to breath !

Could be strep throat, but the penicillin would clear that up!.!.!. go to the doctor for a more thorough evaluation and please don't take 800mg of Motrin b/c you are going to hurt your kidneys!Www@Answer-Health@Com
