You ought to go to MD for MD to check & see if infection is bacterial or viral!. If it's bacterial you will need an antibiotic & it should begin to clear in 1-2 days!. If viral it could last a week or so!.
Put warm compresses over your closed infected eye!. It should be soothing!.
Also you can take a warm used tea bag as compress!.

Pink eye is conjunctivitis!. It is contagious so don't rub your eye(s) and then rub your nose or other eye!. You do need special drops or medicine to clear that up!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
