Why was this after an anaesthic?!

Question: Why was this after an anaesthic!?
I had a anaesethic yesterday and although i feel fine now, when i came around on the ward remember shaking alot and a few nurses around my bed!.
I had an oxygen mask on and also had a drip,
the other ladies who were having the same procedure as me were more or less fine and sitting up in bed,
No one explained to me what was happening and i felt too groggy yesterday to think about it and i am just abit curious, so i was wondering if anyone had a similar experiance or knows what happened thanks!. xWww@Answer-Health@Com

Every person whom has anaesthetic will have oxygen and a normal saline drip after the procedure!. Any person having a procedure where you are even sedated a little will be given oxygen until they are feeling back to normal!. Different people react in different ways to the anaesthetic and to the drugs given to reverse the anaesthetic, shaking is one symptom!. Some people scream and wail and don't remember it at all when they come around fully!. The other ladies who had the same procedure will have come around as they probably had the procedure at an earlier time!. The nurses should have explained to you what to expect after your anaesthetic so it wasn't such a worrying experience so 0/10 to them for that!. Anyway, rest assured what happened to you was completely normal and nothing at all to worry about!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It is not unusual for someone coming out of anasthesia to be tremulous!. Oxygen is usually put on everyone during surgery because they have to intubate you!. Normal saline iv solution is a general order so there is iv access if anything should need to be given and is compatible with most everything, also given to keep patient hydrated because they have not eaten or drank fluids in hours!. Hope this answers your questions!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Nan sounds well-informed!. It also occurred to me that you might have had a reaction to the anaesthetics!? They use several drugs in combination and maybe one of them didn't agree with you!.!.!. You could ask to see your medical record and discuss it with the doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Fresh oxygen is a good way to bring someone out of a general anaesthetic!.
What was the drip!? Was it blood or saline or something else!?
Why worry, you are ok that's the main thingWww@Answer-Health@Com
