Your lateral Meniscus is located in your knee!. I had surgery 8 years ago to cut mine out of both knees!. If it is torn, you'll have severe pain on the sides of your knee, with swelling and bruising!. The best thing to do if you suspect this kind of injury is Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation!. Ice for the first 36-48 hours, then heat after that!. See the Dr!. as he/she will do x-rays followed by an MRI or catscan!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
