Question: Is Ibuprofin 800mg a prescription strength pill!?
I found one in my car after a friend used my car!. It looks much larger than a normal Ibuprofin!. Is it something they would use to get high or need a prescrition for!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

You do need a prescription for it because it is a large dose!. It is no different than taking 4 tablets of ibuprofen and there is no narcotic in it hence no high!. Usually they give it to you when you have injured a muscle or torn a ligament something that you want to reduces swelling in and the script keeps you from having to swallow so many pills!. Some doctors give them for menstrual cramps!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Ibuprofin 800 mg is a prescription drug!. It is very common!. Sometimes doctors will prescibe this for arthritic pain, etc!. It is usually cheaper for a person to just buy a bottle of ibuprofin at the drug store and take 4 200 mg pills!. Not to worry-I don't think you can get high on it!. The worst thing it can do is (if you take too much-too often) is ulcers and tear a hole in the stomach lining!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Yes it is!. And no, it usually won't make you high---just a little sleepy or dizzy!. I wouldn't recommend taking alot of them, they have been known to hurt your stomach and cause stomach bleeding!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
