Took Adderall for the first time today...?!
Question: Took Adderall for the first time today!.!.!.!?
I realize it's a stimulant and a form of speed, but about an hour after I took it, I felt lightheaded and my pulse was high!. Will these side effects wear off as I adjust to the medication!? My psychiatrist put me on Adderall for sleepiness due to depression (I've taken various antidepressants over time and they either didn't work or quit working as time progressed)!. I like the fact that I haven't been sleepy at all today, plus I haven't been as hungry as normal (which I know is a common side effect of the medication), so I want to keep taking it, but when I was lightheaded and my pulse was high, I felt like crap and I don't want to feel like that everyday after I take it!. Will those effects go away!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

it sounds as though you need a lower dose!. your pulse will be higher because of the stimulant, but you shouldn't feel lightheaded!. talk to your doc about taking less!. hope you feel better!Www@Answer-Health@Com
