Can ligaments "crackle"?!

Question: Can ligaments "crackle"!?
I was pushed forward on a rowing machine without warning or consent by a big guy at the gym when I was leaning or reaching toward the handlebar and I felt a crackle (not talking about hearing crackles) to the left of my lower back in the hipline area, but no pain at the time!. After looking into to the anatomy in that area, I found out that there are SI joints in the region, but it could have been further out to the left than that, as the crackle would have had to be felt a little bit to the left of the spine!. If it was the SI joint, would that indicate a malalignment, or is it normal for that joint to crackle!? Don't recall feeling a crackle there before!. Other than joints, can other body tissues cause a crackling sensation, such as a ligament passing over a ligament, muscle passing over bone, ligament passing over muscle, etc!. I'm asking because it is a month later, and I'm getting mild muscle pain in my left calf muscle when I push off on it, jerk suddenly or run/jog!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
It's possible to have the sensation!. As long as it isn't accompanied with pain it *usually* isn't a problem!. Nevertheless, it's wise to see a doctor or chiropractor to make absolutely sure you aren't developing a problem that will manfiest down the road!.

If you're getting muscle pains now, it doesn't matter whether or not it's related to the previous crackling!. See a doctor before you strain or overwork a body part!. Pain is the body's way of letting you know that something's wrong!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
