The purpose of the appendix has left a lot of people still wondering!.!.!.!.
It is said that the appendix was used to help aid in digestion of more fibrous foods like leafs, or twigs etc!.!.!. from way back before we had the food we eat now!. Animals such as horses have large appendixes because it helps them to digest plant material which is what their diet mainly consists of!.
We have changed, and adapted to now be able to function without the use of our appendix!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I don't think anyone knows!? I have had mine removed when I was 12!. I've been alright without it!?Www@Answer-Health@Com
