Question: Pre employment drug screen for First National Bank in Nebraska!?
I am set up for a pre-employment drug screeing for a job that I really want!. I live in Omaha, Ne!. My question is that if I have legitament prescriptions from my doctor for my pain medication when the tests show that I have it in my system!. Will I still be able to get the job!. Or will they let me go!? Is it okay as long as I have a written presciption from doctor plus my doctor could write a note!? Please help I am stressing out!. I do not want this to mess this up! I am not abusing my meds I just take them as needed!. I have a prescription for them!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well those meds that u are taking will more than likely show up on ur drug test but if u do have a prescription for them then there is no problem u should just let them know that ur taking some prescribed meds and tell the doc to write u a note you will be ok so dont stress about it as long as they are prescribed you have nothing to worry about , there are other people out there ur not the only one that is taking meds that is getting a drug test so its okWww@Answer-Health@Com
They cannot refuse to hire you for medications your are currently taking under the supervision of a doctor!. I would suggest providing a letter to your employer, signed by the doctor before taking the drug test!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
