I cant calm down ?!
Question: I cant calm down !?
today i was sposed to donate blood at my school, but i was really scared!. when i walked in they took my pulse and told me i had to calm down, so i tried to but then that made it worse cuz i was like oh no ! calm down quick ! and then i got stressed even more that i wouldnt be able to calm down!. so then in five minutes they took it again and it was like 110
and they wouldnt let me donate so now im scared im never gonna be able to donate because what if i cant calm down !?Www@Answer-Health@Com

you might think about why you think you are scared then you wont be as scared!. When the needle breaks the skin it doesn't hurt at all if the person taking your blood knows what they are doing!. If they do not, the worst is a slight, and very quick sharp pinprick that goes away shortly!. It is a good thing you are trying to do in donating your blood!. I have found that it helps to NOT look at the needle even when you walk into the room!. It will be on the table next to your chair!. Avert your eyes - even turn your head away if need be!. OK to keep talking with the nurse!. Then when they are ready to start let your breathe out slowly!. It is very quick!. Hope this helps!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
