Question: Is it painful for someone to drown!?!?
I am after seeing a clip where this woman was drowning!. so I was wondering What EXACTLY happens when you drown!? when someones lungs are filling with water, what does it feel like and is it very painful!? how long does it take for you to die from it!? and is it painful the whole way through!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

it does in fact hurt to drown its like suffering unless your knocked out or something but they find that in most cases before they die the person is reaching for an "invisible ladder" which is thought to be a hallucinationWww@Answer-Health@Com
Well, I have never drowned, but I would assume it would not be painful!. Your pain gates would close so that the drowning person wouldn't have to deal with extreme pain while trying to get air!. It's like how if you are in complete shock you can block out pain!.

yes it is very painful I almost drowned when I was 8 and it burned very badly when the water was goin in my nose and throat and I had a really bad headache afterwards!. I also felt really queezy from swallowing all that chlorine waterWww@Answer-Health@Com
