Nose bleed after "pressure in the head"?!
Question: Nose bleed after "pressure in the head"!?
My mom is currently being observed in the hospital after losing feeling in the left side of her body!. (Since then she has regained feeling)!. What concerns me the most is she described feeling a pressure in her head!. When she felt release from the pressure, her nose started to bleed!. What should I do if she is released without a known cause of this!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

WHOA! My dad had that feeling of the inside of his head being pushed on when he had an aneurism *sp!?* A blood vessel burst in his head, and he had a stroke that coincided with the clotted blood vessel!. he was outside working and then just fell on the ground with a nosebleed and I ran out, and he said that his head hurt so bad like it was in vice grips, and blood came and he fainted!. I'm not trying to frighten you, but this sounds very serious!. if a doctor is foolish enough to release her without a head scan *please request one!* then you need to watch her, if you don't live with her, call frequently *at least once a day* to make sure she is up and about!. Many people have strokes from a painful blood clot in thier brain, and no one knows until someone notices that they haven't heard from so-and-so in awhile, and they have been lying on the floor not able to get help!. I hope your mother is fine, and maybe it's just a freak accident, but please take precaution!. Many doctors don't wnat to bother with tests, scans and xrays, and sometimes send a very ill p[erson home with pain pills!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Scary!. She should see her own doctor immediately after she gets out of the hospital!. Sounds like she could have had a clot or an aneurism or AVM or something!. I would persist until I got a clear diagnosis and treatment!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
