I've already heard the rumors, but today I saw a sign in the doctor's office: "Thou Shalt Not Use Q-Tips: The 11th Commandment!"

Q-tips are bad for you because the wax gets pushed into your inner ear!. I had a problem with my hearing a couple of weeks ago and my doctor prescribed amoxicillin or penicillin and my hearing is now back to normal!. My regular doctor told me that when he looked in my ear that the wax was pushed up against my ear drum and that if I want to clean my ears that I should use a damp cloth and clean the outter area!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Because when you are using the q-tip it is actaully pushing the wax deeper in your ear!. My sister used to use thhem a lot and gradually her hearing became less and she went to a specialist and he actually told her there was wax deep in her ear!. He then took it out for her !.Www@Answer-Health@Com
