Alcohol withdrawal symptoms.....?!
Question: Alcohol withdrawal symptoms!.!.!.!.!.!?
I am 31!. Was a fairly heavy drinker for about 10 years!. Have gradually cut down in the past year and no alcohol for about 2 weeks now!. Have quit for many reasons - health (mental and physical), was having interrupted sleep and refound Christian faith)!. In the past 3 months or so after cutting back I have had sporadic insomnia which has become a lot worse in the past month!. Could it be related to alcohol withdrawal!? Has anyone experienced it and will it go away!?!?!?!?!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

yeah, thats total alcohol withdrawl!. Your body is so use to the depressant and the effects of alcohol, your body has adjusted and made it a part of what you are use to as in falling asleep!. It will go away, but having the patience during that time period will take patience!.
Best advice is to be honest with your doctor so they can prescribe you the correct medication without forming a dependency on that!. In the mean time, work on your faith and pray about this!.!.!.!.

I spent quite a few sleepless nights early on!. Eventually it balanced out!.
There are online recovery meetings if you have language problems, etc!. try 12steprecovery!.org or email me a reminder and i can give you other sites (not at my home computer at the moment)!. The 12 steps align fairly well with christian tenets, they are just very broad minded about the overall concept of a higher power!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Ive been through alcohol withdrawal you cant sleep you feel sick to your stomach you have a few seizures and your freezing cold but when you put a blanket on you feel like your on fire it is really the worst thing anyone could ever go throughWww@Answer-Health@Com
Why don't you try the local AA!. They will give you great support and the strenght to keep going!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
