Question: HELP PLEASE! I took some Methylphenidate (Ritalin)!?
I took a 20 mg pill of methylphenidate (type of ridalin) from a friend who uses it for his ADHD!. I know the drug really isnt that dangerous but i plan on drinking tonight!. I took the pill at 12:40, won't be drinking till like 8:30!.Will the combination of alcohol and ridalin be harmful or should i be ok!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

You ought o be ok!. The Ritalin is a stimulant & alcohol a central nervous system depressant!. They may cancel one another out!.
Ritalin can have bad sie effects if you don't have ADHD!.: Agitation; restlessness; insomnia; inability to concentrate, etc!.
Best not to take others meds!.

no! don't do it! depressants and stimulants don't cancel each other out- they duke it out in your cells! you need your cells, especially the ones in your brain- this is definitely not a good idea, just have fun on the ritalin by itself and you'll survive unscathed!.!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
alcohol could intensify the effects of ritalin, be carefull, you could be really wired !!!Www@Answer-Health@Com
