Question: Calcium in Calcium Carbonate vs Calcium in Calcium Phosphate!?
Calcium in Calcium Carbonate vs Calcium in Calcium Phosphate!?
I take daily Calcium supplements of about 1200mgs, and I noticed that sometimes the label on my selected brand says Calcium Carbonate and others Calcium Phosphate!.
What is the difference, assuming the same amount is being taken!?
Which is easier to digest!? and why!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Calcium phosphate is the name given to a family of minerals containing calcium ions together with orthophosphates, metaphosphates or pyrophosphates and occasionally hydrogen or hydroxide ions!. Seventy percent of bone is made up of hydroxylapatite, a calcium phosphate mineral!. Tooth enamel is also largely calcium phosphate!.
