Answers:
5 years is a long time to want something!. Since you still want it, then I think you should go for it!. You are wise to ask about the risks!. First step is to get a board certified doctor!. You can go to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (www!.plasticsurgery!.org) to find one in your area!. He/she can go over the risks!. Common risks with any surgery include infection and adverse effects from the medicine and anesthetic!. With rhinoplasty you can have an obstruction of your airway!. I think your worse risk is not liking what you thought you would like!. You have an image of what you think your new nose will look like and you might not get what you expect!. Talk with your doctor and make sure you both are on the same page and everything should be fine!.

Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

The biggest risk with that kind of surgery, or ANY for that matter is going under general anesthesia!. There are many complications that can arise while someone is "out!." There is always risk of infection!. However, rhinoplasty isn't invading your body, so your risks are low!. Your current health would be an indicator of risks involved, such as are you diabetic!? Have a disease or heart condition!? Do you smoke!? Have severe Allergies!? Etc!. HIGHLY research a plastic surgeon who is a certified member of the board of Plastic surgeons!. Your evaluation with that doctor will give you the best indicator of your risks!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
