Question: Asthma - if collapse, what can you do!?
My friend had an asthma attack yesterday really bad, she was very distressed and inhaler was not helping so I had to call an ambulance!. She's ok now!. My question is if she had collapsed what could I have done!? I was told before cpr is useless on asthma victims!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

If she collapses, call an ambulance immediately!. You need to check whether she's breathing or not!. if not, start CPR or rescue breathing!. Tilt the head back, pinch the nose and give two puffs of air!. If she's not breathing at all, the muscles will have relaxed and the air will go in, watch for the chest to rise!. If she's barely breathing, try cpr until the ambulance get there!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
loose the clothing around the neck and give your friend the inhaler every3 minutes and tell them to take deep breathes if that dosent work then call 999Www@Answer-Health@Com
