Is it safe to go 30 hours with no sleep?!


Question: Is it safe to go 30 hours with no sleep!?
I've never been awake for more than 20 hours but now I'm afraid I have to stay away for 30 hours!. Is this safe and okay!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

well you shouldn't make a habit of this but i've done it!. you should be careful if you're going to be driving or something that requires a lot of focus!. you won't be at 100% so don't expect your mind or body to function as well as it normally does! don't try to drink a lot of coffee or energy drinks or caffinated beverages, that will only make the crash harder!. instead, try to get your energy from healthier snacks that have natural caffine!. a lot of teas like green tea have caffine and are much better than their coffee or carbonated alternatives!. and make sure you eat, your body is going to need the food and energy to function! sorry you have to stay up so long, good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

It depends on the individual and everyone's body is different!. It's OK once but don't make a habit out of it!. Generally speaking, it's very unhealthy!. It can especially hurt your mental health!. Usually when someone has been sleep deprived, the part of the brain that controls mood and automatic emotional response is disrupted and temporarily starts to shut down until the person gets enough sleep!. That is why a lot of people appear to be grumpy, unfriendly, and emotionally unstable when they don't get enough sleep!. Lack of sleep can lower the immune system, cause memory loss, and cause serious accidents due to fatigue (such as the nuclear power plant disaster in Chernobyl)!. On average, a person needs 7 hours of sleep every night!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I really don't recommend it!. Are you doing this for some sort of medical test!? If not, try to sneak a nap in somewhere!.

If you really must, though, make sure you stay hydrated, stay away from too much caffeine and nicotine, and try to eat healthful snacks!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I guess it's safe, as long as you don't, like, drive and fall asleep behind the wheel!.

You probably won't suffer any long term effects!. It's not healthy, but your body will eventually force you to catch up on the sleep you missed!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
