Anxiety Causes Diarrhea?!
Question: Anxiety Causes Diarrhea!?
I just got back from a dinner with my family!.
During the dinner, I started to have a panic attack!.
I began to flush, have adrenaline build up, feel afraid, etc!.
By the time we got home, I had to go to the bathroom so bad (not for stomach problems yet)!. Going to the bathroom or somewhere outside always helped and relieved me!.
Anyway, when I got to the bathroom, my anxiety/panic went into overdrive!. I had heart palpitations, chest pain, extreme sweating!.!.!. I thought I was going to die right then and there!.
Then, all of a sudden, I had to go #2 REALLY BAD!
To put a less-than-fine point on the situation, I basically emptied out everything that was in my stomach by means of extremely watery stool!.
The thing is, I didn't feel any of this until the anxiety hit!. And I didn't get the diarrhea from the food, because I hardly ate at all at the dinner!.
So, was it just anxiety!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

It could very well have been an anxiety attack!. You could start carrying a small brown paper bag in your purse, and when you feel one coming on breathe into it for abt!. 5 min!., trying to calm down and get (or stay) on your "normal" breathing pattern!. It sure helped me years ago!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Yes it could just have been anxiety!. People experience anxiety in a number of ways!. Some people get nauseous, some people get headaches, etc!.
