Could my birth control be messing with my vision?!

Question: Could my birth control be messing with my vision!?
i'm taking lutera!. i'm currently on my placebo week!.
just recently as in a few days ago, i've noticed i can't wear my contacts for the life of me!. my vision is normal without them!. i can see clearer without my contacts, than i can with them which is strange!. it seems like there is a cloud of smudge when i wear my contacts!. they always seem smudged when i take them out!. i'm always cleaning them and putting them back in, but even when i take them out with clean hands, they are smudged again!. there is nothing in my eyes or anything like that!. i've flushed them out!.

what could the problem be!?
i know that in my b!.c!. pamphlet it says "if you wear contact lenses and notice a change in vision or an inability to wear your lenses contact a doctor or your health-care provider!."

could this be the problem!? i don't want to call and make a fool of myself if the b!.c!. isn't causing this!. thank you!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
It could be that the contact lenses are scratched or the birth control is causing this!. Better to be safe than sorry and have a doctor check you out just in case!. It could be a smudge and you were worrying over nothing!. So its better to just get a straight answer from a doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

get an appointment to see your g p like first thing in the morning, if the problem is not caused by the pill then there could be another reason and you need to get checked out right away!. good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The product says call your doctor!? I have an idea - CALL YOUR DOCTOR!.

Anything that tampers with hormones potentially can effect vision - if for no other reason than it can effect blood pressure!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Could it be maybe just the pair of contacts you have on!? Have you tried changing the contacts themselves, like to a new unopened pair!? While I'm not sure of the affects of the pill, if you just used the placebo pills, there shouldn't be any change at all!. While I may be mistaken, my Thoughts were that placebo was basically a sugar pill!. That placebo pill should no affects whatsoever!. Actually when I did research (again correct me if im wrong, im just going by what I Read) the only reason they give a placebo pill, was so that you had a week to have your period, so that people felt it normal!. The actual first pill they developed had no period whatsoever!. (i don't think it ever reached market)!. But the placebo was placed in there to make women feel it was more normal!. Anyways, if you really feel your eyesight has changed even with changing the contacts, you should call your Doctor or healthcare provider!. Thats what they are there for!. And just for a little comfort, I do think that when they mean a change in vision, they usually mean for the worse!. If your vision hasn't changed, and its just different with the contacts, its probably just the contactes themselves!. good luck, and best wishes!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
