How does rehab help drug addicts?!

they try to introduce addicts to a new way of living!. they try to keep them away from the drugs while using therapy to help them understand the problem and how to correct it!. addicts are very used to having a certain way of life after they've been using for a long period of time!. they need to be re-taught how to live life the right way!.!.!. or maybe i should say the healthy way!. rehab helps by withdrawing the addicts from drugs and uses lots of therapy (like A!.A!. group therapy) where the addicts can come to terms with what they are doing and alternatives so they can fix the problem!. it is a difficult process for many people, and many times relapses occur at the beginning, but a person in rehab also needs lots of support from those around him or her!. and very important!.!.!. the addict MUST want to help themself and MUST be able to admit and really understand they have a problem!. then from there its try and hope for the best because life is a lot healthier and a lot more appreciated for the good things without the drugs!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

5)they tell you about what it can do to you (counseling)
