Brushing my teeth entails more than "brushing" because it is the care of my GUMS that make my teeth and gums healthy!.
1!. I spend about 30 seconds just brushing my teeth and tongue with a clean wet tooth brush!. This includes tops, and sides of my teeth and my tongue!.
2!. I spend about 2 minutes going between my teeth with a small, one bristled, brush called "go betweens"!. (this brushes particles from between my teeth close to the gums!.
3!. I spend about 2 minutes brushing under my gums (gently) with a tooth brush that has a brush that is about 1/4 inch wide and is specifically used to clean the area under my gums!.
4!. I spend about 2 minutes flossing my teeth with waxed or unwaxed dental floss!. (I prefer waxed)
5!. Then I spend about 1 minute brushing my gums and my teeths' tops, bottoms and sides with a name brand tooth paste and a soft tooth brush!.
Afterwards, I rinse my mouth with tepid water and face the world with a fresh, healthy mouth!.
To answer your question, it takes me between 7 and 8 minutes each time I brush my teeth!.

Two to three minutes is recommended!. concentrate on the gum line, the sonic rechargeable toothbrushes are excellent, and they are set on a 2 minute timer, 30 seconds per quarter of mouth!. FYI over-brushing can damage the enamel on your teeth, use soft brush!!! Recommend brushing 2 to 3x/day!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
