Question: Is getting up several times in the night bad for your health!?
My son is doing a project at school and can't find the answer any where on the internet if any one has it please reply!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes it is bad for your health!. When you break up your sleep, you wont let your body rest as much therefore you will be tired the next day!. Being tired is harmful to your health because 1!. you will probably gain weight!.!. lazy little exercise!. 2!. you will become stressed!. 3!. You will grow bags under your eyes that could become permanent!. Headaches!.!. lots of problems caused by sleep deprivation that can be led by just getting up several times in the night!. It interrupts your sleep cycles and therefor you do not get the same amount of deep sleep and REM that you would if you did not wake up!. This can have a bad effect on your health and your mental health!. Look up sleep deprivation and you will get more scientific answers!. Hope this helps!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
