Lymph is a liquid similar to blood plasma!. Lymph picks up debris from cells and damaged tissues and it is picked up by the lymphatic system and circulates through the lymph nodes which filter out the junk in the lymph!. this is why lymph nodes swell when you have an infection!. Ever notice how big the tonsils in your throat get when you have a throat infection!? That's because tonsils are also lymph nodes!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
