I am on Xanax and Lexapro can they make your thyroid have problems!. I have been working out for two months now and am not losing any weight!. I was wondering if that could be the problem!. I work out 5 days a week for an hour and a half!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I've been on Lexapro for 5 years!. I know I have a problem with water retention!. But it is best to talk to the dr!.

It is possible!.!.!. when you have thyroid problems (either an overactive thyroid (hyperthyroidism) or underactive thyroid (hypothyroidism) you can gain weight !.!.!.or vice versus and lose a bunch of weight!.!.!. It can go through cycles!.!.!. but it might not be because of that either and that is something you should discuss with your doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Lexapro can make a person gain weight, thus negating any possible effect!. Lexapro and Xanax do not effect the thyroid!. You still might have a thyroid problem independent of those medications!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
