Keep in mind that it's very rare for a person to have a serious illness, so already the odds are on your side!.

Tics in muscles can be caused by many things: diet is a big one, anxiety and other things can all contribute!.

Medically, there are also many things that may be responsible: little twitchy muscles can be caused by thyroid issues, for example!. The thing to keep in mind is that there really ARE a lot of things that can cause symptoms like these, and not that many of them are terribly serious!. I mean, put it this way: if you honestly think that something is wrong with you, if it's not showing up on your ECG or CAT scan, then it can't be all that bad!.

Your doctor is not always going to be right, but he HAS studied the body and illness an awful lot: it is worthwhile giving his word some weight!. However, given that he has not allayed your fears, he has not properly fulfilled his duty of care!. It would be perfectly reasonable of you to go to another doctor and get a second opinion!. Until you get that opinion, however, I would always keep in mind what your first doctor said!. Worrying yourself silly is only likely to make any existing symptoms worse, and is likely to contribute to the generation of new ones!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You usually know yourself if something is wrong with you!. I know some people that had to go through many doctors to find an answer!. Some doctors will laugh at you - I have had this happen, it took me months & many doctors to find I had glandular fever (which is quite common)!.
Twitching legs and muscle unrest can also be a lack of magnesium, this problem is in my family, my Father, Sister and I have it a bit!. Get some magnesium tablets from the chemist - if that doesn't help, Iron tablets could be a try as well!. Then back to the doctor again! Hope it settles down!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Could be growing pains!.!.there is such a thing!. 2 of my kids reported similar sensations!. The twitching and weakness, well I'm not a doc, but maybe you're overly stressed, hormonal, and the like being as the tests have come back fine!.
Ask for a fibromyalgia test!. I believe that a high protein diet really helps with that!. At least it would rule it out!. Depression can cause soreness and aches as can simple stress which really is hard on a person!. Best to you!Www@Answer-Health@Com

OMG you remind me of myself a few years ago!.!.!.!.this same thing happened to me!. It stopped twitching and such like after probably a couple years when i relaxed and realized i was fine!. But the anxiety i had kept me up at night and made my muscles twitch allllll the time and i also got really bad heart burn/integestion!. Well email me if you want to talk more about this!

NO one belioeved me, so many people laughed at me and it turned out to be true!. go with your gut, better to be embarresed then very very sick! (:

start eating more pototoes, bananas, apples, drink skim milk!.

For for walks to increase your circulation, take some vitamins!.

Sometimes this can be related to not enouph potasium, calcium, and iron in your diet!.

Otherwise do what your doctor tells you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Terrruts syndromeWww@Answer-Health@Com

yeah!.!.!. nerve things are scary, i can understand why you are concerned and it's definately frustrating to feel like the doctor is not listening to you, but for the time being it would be a good idea to assume hes right!. things you can do to help yourself are eliminate caffeine from your diet, make sure you're getting a regular sleep schedule and try to get a little extra exercise like going for a walk or something!. If after those things you still have a problem it might be a good idea to go back in!.!.!. but most likely that will work!. (also sugar!.!.!. if you eat a lot of sugar this could be affecting you as well)Www@Answer-Health@Com
