Does anyone know anything about Sickly-Cell anemia?!

My wife is a nurse and she said to write that sickle cell anemia is an inherited genetic disease that causes the blood to take on a sickle like shape which causes them to clump up and block blood flow to different organs in the body!. It causes pain to the person affected!. It is predominantly in African-American people!.
Your friend will need treatment for the rest of her life to prevent blockages!. One of the biggest things to do to prevent a sickle cell crisis is to drink ALOT of water!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
