One of my family members has a severe flatulence problem. what do i do!!!?!

i have a family member that has a horrible flatulence problem, it seriously smells like something crawled up their anus and died!. no jokes!. it smells like road kill after it has sat for two or three days and it's awful!. they have the same diet as we do to our knowledge but over the past few months the gas has gotten worse!. it stinks up the entire house and it takes the whole day to vent out a room because they wont stop letting out their gas and we cant get close enough because of the smell!. we tried covering our noses but it doesnt help when they wont stop and we cant live with masks on forever!. i got scared when one day he farted so hard he busted a blood vessle in his eye and he was sweating!. he also soiled himself and it took alot of effort to get rid of is soiled draws!. he is old around 60 and has been depressed since he lost his wife!. this might be his way of dealing with the depression but it is really killing us!. help do i need to call a doctor or psychiatrist!?Www@Answer-Health@Com
