so i was put on anti biotics and took my first dose today!. however the medicine doesnt work right away so my throat still hurts realllllly bad, that im almost crying!. does anyone know anything i can do to help ease the pain!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Gargle salt and water !. It will hurt but once you can tolerate that pain nothing else will hurt that much after !. Also there are numbing lozenges you can take!. You poor thing!. There is also icecream!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Naproxen always helps me!. You can buy it at Walmart and it's sold under "Naproxen Sodium" or something like that!. It's basically the off-brand of Aleve!. It's an anti-inflammatory and will reduce the swelling of your tonsils and relieve your pain!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I feel bad!. I remember those days!. I recommend drinking water, apple juice, or gatorade!. They go down a little easier!. DON'T drink orange juice, that will make it worse!.

Try having some warm tea with a tablespoon or two of honey!. The honey will help coat your throat!. Try taking some advil and gargling with warm salt water and get some rest!. Your symptoms will improve very soon! Get well!Www@Answer-Health@Com
