Are night terrors associated with surgical recovery?!


Question: Are night terrors associated with surgical recovery!?
My 20 month old had her tonsils out 8 days ago!. 5 out of the 8 days she has woken up absolutely unconsolable!. She has been on antibiotics since the day of the surgery and she is fine during the day so I know she is healing well!. How do I make it better!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Night terrors can happen after any kind of significant event!. It's just her way of trying to process something that she doesn't understand!.

When it happens, just sit with her and talk softly to her until she calms down and goes back to sleep!. It will pass!. She seems inconsolable, but believe it or not your presence does make a difference to her!.
