Having 4 kids myself and working thru all 4 pregnancies I say NO WAY is this fair, if they can't do the work then go on maternity leave early and risk not getting paid!. I can NOT stand women who act asif being pregnant is an excuse to do nothing, or act like they are the first woman in the world to be pregnant!. GET OVER IT!!! Women have been doingit for centuries, your not the first nor the last, if you can't do the job get the hell out of the way!. \

I sympathize with you and understand how you feel!. Good luckWww@Answer-Health@Com

A pregnant woman has new life growing inside her and that new life needs to be protected!. I think that they should get maternity leave(paid)during their pregnancy and during the first year of their child's lives!. I get so tired of people trying to say that pregnant women shouldn't be treated differently!. I mean, if I get a headache, I can take medication to try and get rid of it---if I am pregnant I cannot take all that medication because it might affect the unborn child negatively---so when I get sick I can't do a thing!. Since Employers in America do not want to give women maternity leave, the least they can do is give them special treatment on the job!.!.!.!.!.countries like Germany, Sweden, Denmark, France, etc!.etc!. all give their women maternity leave before and after birth with job guarantee when they return to work and in the United States they don't even want to give a woman who is pregnant a better treatment!.!.!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Oh, another mysogynist woman!.
Gotta love them!.

Pregnancy isn't a card!. It is a reality!. Your body is changing fast and furiously!. It is an excercise in grace -- submitting to a process out of your control, second only to cancer or the ravages of an autoimmune disorder!.

They are not slacking simply because they are pregnant!.
They are slacking because either they are slackers, or because they really aren't feeling their best!.

Given your female avatar, I presume you have a uterus too!.

Before you make irresponsible and cruel conclusions about your apparently unlucky coworkers, look up preeclampsia, as well as eclampsia, gestational diabetes, and HELLP syndrome, just for starters, and attempt to develop a smidge of compassion!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

No, I don't think it is fair!. I worked pregnant and the only special treatment that I got was that I didn't have to pick up anything heavy!.!.!.which makes sense!. I worked up until I was in labor (at work) and waited for my husband to pick me up to take me to the hospital and one of my coworkers had her baby at her desk!. We didn't ask for special treatments!. I do understand that some women are sickly when pregnant but should ask for maternity leave!. I have a sister in law, when pregnant convinced my brother she couldn't do housework, cooking, cleaning or working that it could hurt the baby!.!.!.!.I don't understand people like that!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

No they shouldn't be treated any different they are pregnant its not an illness!. I know as time goes on in the pregnancy they may slow down!.
But I agree with you too many times their co workers carry them!. I had my son and worked as normal right through in fact I became more productive as I was trying to show that pregnancy made no difference to my work abiltiy!.
As soon as someone is pregnant these days they seem to give themselves permission to go into I am not going to work mode!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I wouldn't walk on egg shells!.!.!.but I would certainly be a little more considerate towards herWww@Answer-Health@Com
