Cut out ALL dairy products and anything with sugar, until you feel better, since both of them increase the amount of mucus you are producing!. And if you can, eat lots of garlic - raw or cooked! - as it is a natural antiseptic that will help your throat!. Roasted is my favourite way - three or four big cloves in a little olive oil, in a medium oven for about 40 minutes!. Drink lots of water, too, or pure fruit juice (fresh if possible)!.

Some honey stirred into hot water, with the juice of half a lemon may soothe your throat somewhat, and may help you sleep if you take it at night!. If you have Vitamin C powder, stir some in - about a gram, and take more vitamin C during the day!.

If you have Olbas Oil, put a few drops in some boiling water in a large bowl, then hold your head over it wrapped in a towel, and breathe carefully (avoiding being scalded - the steam will be very hot)!. And try a few drops on your pillow at night!.

I hope you feel better soon!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
