Question: Does anyone else have any prescription horror stories!?
My brother was prescribed Addarell (a few years ago) for his "A!.D!.D!." (which every parent thinks their child has now, right!?)!.
Anyway, long story short, he started losing tons and tons of weight!. He looked really sickly and his eyes were almost "bugging out!." They said his heart was beating three times too fast!.!.!. he now has thyroid problems and will probably be on medication for the rest of his life!. He's only 18!.!.!. the doctor said it was from the Addarell!.!.!.

Yes - just earlier this year, I had some crazy mystery head pain that lasted for 8 weeks!. Long story short, over that two months, I was prescribed over 12 different medications, many of which taken in conjunction could have caused an overdose!. Two of the scripts caused memory loss and at one point I was walking near my office on the way to the doctor and forgot where I was, where I was going and had to stand on the corner for close to 10 minutes until I could remember!. It was crazy!. I was on a medication that was more addictive than heroine and it really messed with me!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
one doctor decided, despite negative blood test results, that I had a thyroid problem and gave me a Rx for drugs!. I ended up with 8 EMT's at my house, 2 firetrucks and an ambulance and was rushed to the ER!.
I had called the doctor 3 times before that to tell him about the symptoms I was experiencing on the drug but he ignored me!. It took me about 8 months to recover!. I never had a thyroid problem- I was anemic but the doctor decided to totally ignore that indication on the blood tests!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
