Question: Brain scan!?!?!?
I have to go for a brain scan on Thursday, can anyone tell me what to expect!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I've had both!.
Personally, I had no problems with either!. You lay down, stick your head in a machine and stay there til they pull you out!. It's moderately comfortable!.
You'll have to take your jewellery off, mind!. I think that if you are of a larger size, it can be quite scary because it's less roomy!. I've heard it described as being in a tomb!.

x!. when i had mine, i laid on the table they put a brace around my head put a pair of head phones on and then went into the tunnel, be prepared it is very noisy but painless, someone will talk to you between scans and music is played to try to dull the noise out, you will also be given a button in your hand to push if you need to, try not tooo try to stick it out as it only makes the time in there longer!. good luck!. xWww@Answer-Health@Com
An mri or a ct scan!. Mri you lie down with your head in a machine!. Makes a noisy banging sound, but apart from that is ok!. Takes between 10&20mins!. Ct scan you just sit in a machine for 10mins, no noise or anything!. Both take a picture of your brain!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
