Needle Sizes?!
Question: Needle Sizes!?
I recently got a vacination and I have always found it annoying when people say "I didn't feel a thing!" because you have to have felt SOMETHING!. But when I got it done I understood it, as I myself did not feel anything!.
Why is this!?
Is it because the needle is a smaller gauge than the piercing needle I'm used to!? Or Something else!?
P!.S!. How big is a tattoo needle compared to a piercing needle and a vacination needle!?

It's all the way nerves work!. You can't avoid them, but sometimes it's in that *perfect* spot that doesn't irk you at all!.
Tattoo needles are usually around 18 or 16ga but they're in clusters of 1, 5, 7, or 12!. Piercing is commonly 14 or 12, and vaccination depends on the medication - 21 to 16, usually!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Tamsin, there are two factors in whether a needle hurts or not!.
First, it depends on the nurse, doctor or tech that is doing the procedure!.
Second, I have found that too many of these professionals do not take time to let the alcohol dry and this is what usually stings when getting a shot!.
Todays needles are laser sharpened and therefore, it does not usually matter the size!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

u should feel a little pinch but if the needle is really small it might not hurt!. A tattoo neddle is huge, a piercing needle is big enough to put a hole in you and a vacination needle is quite small!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
different vaccinations have different needle sizes, i guess it varies from company to company and product to product!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
