Ouch! Help?!

Question: Ouch! Help!?
My knee (well, my leg, really) has been hurting a lot lately!.!.!. especially if I sit in one position for over 10 minutes or so!. The pain is located behind the knee to the right of the left bone!.

It feels like there may be something wrong with the vein and circulation because sometimes my left foot gets a lot colder than my right!.

I find it feels a bit better if I massage or put pressure behind the knee!. It usually is fine when I'm walking!.

I spoke to my doctor, and he said that it could be varicose veins (and I do see some, but not in that area), but he dismissed it entirely!. It feels like it's been getting worse and I've been noticing the pain a lot more!. Any ideas what it could be!? Or what I could do about it!? Help!

I'm on the pill, and I don't smoke cigarettes!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
How old are you!?
Get a second opinion!. It could be deep vein thrombosis!.!.!.aka a clot in your leg!. They are treated with thrombolytics!.!.!.blood thinners!. However, if untreated, they can be serious!. If a clot dislodges, it could go to your brain or lungs, which is REALLY bad!.
Another thing to expect, if it IS a clot, they'll want you to stay off your feet!. Might also be a good idea to do anyway, until you know for sure!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You could just have sciatica, google it to see if it describes your symptoms!. You might also have the start of a Bakers Cyst, google that, too and see if it fits!.

I've had both and I'm still here! Good luck with this!Www@Answer-Health@Com
