buying a night guard can help with the grinding at night!. But there is no real cure for TMJ!. You can ease pain with pain medications, warm compresses!.
Best way to see if you have TMJ is to schedule an appointment with your dentist or doctor, to see what the best treatment for you is, because it varies from person to personWww@Answer-Health@Com

Sound like TMJ, I have it and if it cause pain, they can make something you wear at night which really helps, chewing gum, smoking, drinking through a straw, anything that causes that "drawing" movement can aggravate it!. I wouldn't worry too much if it's not causeing pain, but sometimes, I get headaches so bad that I will have shooting pains in the ear and down my neck!. So if you start getting frequent headaches think about what you did that may have been mouth/jaw related, and go to an orthodontist, they are better at making the mouth piece for you than a regular dentist!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
No idea, I get the same thing too!. When I chew, it is common for my jaw to make a cracking sound!. I've heard that it can last up to mid-twenties and eventually goes away, but I have no idea how accurate that is!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
