Bump on head, vomiting, and fever in 7 year old child?!
Question: Bump on head, vomiting, and fever in 7 year old child!?
Yesterday morning my 7 year daughter complained that her head hurt!. I checked it over and found a good sized bump but, she says she didn't hit her head anywhere!.
She stayed laying down for most of the day with a headache!. I gave her an ice pack and just kept a close eye on her!.
During the night, she started with a fever!. This morning she was vomiting quite a lot!. She couldn't even hold down water!. Her face looked all flushed and her eyes were glassy!.
So, my husband and I brought her to the doctor!. The Dr!. said he was unsure if she only had a virus or if everything was coming from the bump on her head!.
Right now, my husband is at the hospital with her having it x-rayed and I'm waiting at home for my older daughter to get out of school!. I'm really worried!.
But, the strange thing is if she has a concussion why would she have a fever!? Also, how could she not remember hitting her head to cause such a large bump!? Anyone have any ideas or theories as to what could be wrong!?

Not sure about the fever, but if she were knocked out, memory loss wouldn't surprise me!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
