I want to quit my addictions...?!


Question: I want to quit my addictions!.!.!.!?
Yes, I need to quit smoking!. I have the information and help available to do so!. However, I don't know how to quit my caffine addiction! (Mt!. Dew) I can't get enough of it!. I've tried and tried, but I get horrible migrains when I quit!. No amount of tylonol can cure it! Are there vitamins or something that may help!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Wean yourself slowly from Mt!. Dew!.!.!.then take Advil or Aleve , or Excedrin Migraine before you go to sleep!.

I don't think it will take away headache, but try Vit B 50 Complex, Vit!. C 2000mg every 2 hours for 2-3 days!.

Drink lots of water to flush system out!.

Caffiene is a highly addictive drug which is only tolerated because it makes you work harder not happier!.

Anyway, once you are addicted to caffine you will find that all caffine does it bring you back to a normal level!. It is drug best gotten out of your system!.

Caffine withdrawal is associated with headaches, dizziness and loss of memory (during the withdrawal process you often forget what you did)!.

You can quit in 2 ways, 1)!. Cold turkey 2) wean yourself off!.

1) is hard to do when you have work and other committments!. i have quite caffine twice and both times I did it when my life was not busy and stress free!.

So you need a week of free time to relax, and do little, maybe just sleep!.

2) You can control your usage instead!. Reduce how much you use over time!. Then when you quit the systems will be less!.

Yes, being fit and having a healthy diet (drink lots of water and fruit juice, and maybe heaps of sugar to give you energy)!.

Talk to a doctor about anything they might be able to prescribe for the headaches!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Slowly ween yourself off of it!. I used to be a coffee fiend, and eventually got off of it!. Let's say you drink 10 mountain dews a day!. On Sunday, drink your normal 10 dews!. Then on Monday, drink 9 and when you want to drink a dew, chew gum or drink a huge glass of water!. Then on Tuesday drink 8, and do the same when you want one!. Do this until you eventually get down to one and slowly weening off will ease the headaches!. If you need to you can drink 8 on Tuesday, 8 on Wednesday, and 8 on Thursday if 2 less creates withdrawal so your body gets used to the decreased consumption of caffeine!. there is no way to fully escape the caffine withdrawls, they can be made less by cutting back- only drink some (not as much as usual) when you begin to get the headaches!. maybe even try doing so with something caffineated that does not taste as good so it is easier to consume in moderation!.- Good luck- it is hard to quit both!Www@Answer-Health@Com
