Question: Can you teach a child to write with their right hand even though they seem to be a lefty!?

I am not sure why people want their children to be righty when the appear to be lefty, but yes it can be done!. My mother was a lefty and her mother did not want her to be a lefty, so she forced her to do everything righty!. My mother can write beautifully with both hands!. There are many people who can do both or do things righty and lefty!. I write righty, but I throw lefty, bowl lefty, and golf lefty!. There are other daily activities like carrying things and want not that I do lefty and righty both!. My teacher is a lefty, he throws balls, eats, uses his cellphone, blah blah blah, with his left hand, but he uses his right hand to write!. He says that his parents taught him how to write with his right hand when they found out that he was a lefty!. And he says he likes it because if he wrote with his left hand, it would get messy when he writes something on the white board or OHP in the class!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
My 10 year old daughter is ambidextrous!. She can write well with her right hand, but prefers her left!. When it comes to sports though, she is awesome using her right hand!. The human body is sure a weird & complex mystery!.

Yes alot of older americans were forced by their parents,church and school to write right handed be couse the left hand is "the Devils hand"!.

My step- father was left-hand and was taught in the early 40's to use his right!. When You were a little kid they would want you to use their right hand , if they use their left they got smack with a ruler until they learn to use their right!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Whatever feels right to them! When i was younger i ALWAYS used my left hand for everything and my mom thought i was going to be a lefty, but then i started writing with my right hand!.!.!. But i still write with my left so i guess i'm both!?Www@Answer-Health@Com
