Trazedone is a tricyclic antidepressant, sometimes given for insomnia!. It can cause weight gain!. If too much weight is gained, you may be at risk for developing an Impaired Glucose Tolerance ( Precursor to diabetes) or diabetes!. It should not necessarily be a problem if you exercise you can keep the weight off!.
