The last time i threw up is 8 years ago!. Is this healthy!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

The last time I threw up was before the 5th of Feb 2001!.
Why do I know the date!?
Because that was the date I had surgery, that went a wee bit wrong (majorily), to repair a hernia and reflux!.
My stomach no longer opens up to allow food and fliuds in OR out now!.
I still get sick!. VERY sick and my body tries to vomit but it tries for up to an hour until my oesphagus bleeds due to pressure!.
VERY, VERY painful!.
But it's not unhealthy to have not thrown up in that long!.
It just means that you have been lucky enough to avoid anything that irritates your stomach!. Such as off food, a gastro virus or intestinal upset!.
We only throw up (except if you force yourself) when something has caused our body to become poisoned!. So your body is trying to expell it before it reaches the rest of your system!.
Really, think yourself extremely lucky as a 'touch' of gastro meant 5 weeks in hospital for me last time!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You're fine!. If anything, you've taken good care of yourself!. The last time I actually threw up was about two years ago, after having a run-in with a rotten potato in the pantry!. The smell was the most evil thing I had ever inhaled and it gave me a run to the kitchen sink!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
throwing up is usually a way the body reacts to something like food was spoiled or we ate to much or if we have the stomach infection babies throw up sometimes one to three times a day its normal in these examplesWww@Answer-Health@Com
