Question: Could someone decscirbe their experience with wellbutrin!?
I have a problem where it is very hard to feel happiness or joy!. I am thinking about asking the doctor to let me try wellbutrin, I have been on zoloft for 7 years and it does not look like any other ssri will work!. How was wellbutrinWww@Answer-Health@Com

My first experience with regular Wellbutrin was awful!. I had racing thoughts, sweat all the time, had the shakes, didn't sleep for 4 nights and was miserable!.
I had problems with SSRIs too, Prozac lasted 2 years and Zoloft about 5 years!.
So years later when my Doctor recommended it to me after the SSRIs failed to work more than a limited time I said "absolutely not"!. However he explained that the newer types like SR and XL were different and would probably not give me the side effects!. SR didn't work well for me as I still had undesirable side effects!. However I have been on Wellbutrin XL for over 7 years now and don't have any noticeable side effects and it does a fantastic job of controlling my depression and shows no sign of stopping!.
Everyone reacts differently to different medications!. So, if you find that you have problems with regular Wellbutrin, there is always the Wellbutrin SR or XL and they really are different!.
If your doctor is agreeable to it, try it!. It may be very helpful to you!.

The Dr!. prescribed Wellbutrin for depression!. I took it for 35 days and lost 28 pounds!. I knew that was too fast a way to lose weight, but since I was fat all my life I decided to do it anyway!. That was 7 years ago!. I still weigh about 25 pounds less than when I started the Wellbutrin!.

I like Wellbutrin!. I was on Prozac which caused me to gain weight and also after a while, it actually stopped working!. Wellbutrin has less side effects than the other anti-depressants!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
