If you're iron difficient...?!


Question: If you're iron difficient!.!.!.!?
What, exactly, are you supposed to do other than eating brocolli, spinach and red meat for breakfast!.!.!.!. eating brocolli, spinach and red meat for lunch!.!.!.!. eating brocolli, spinach and red meat for dinner!.!.!. everyday, for the rest of your life!?

Excluding iron supplements, are there any other foods that are high in iron (or anything you can do to increase your iron level) that don't make you feel like you're eating a tree or this lump of brown stuff that's supposed to taste good but you've never eaten in your life and have no intention of doing so anytime soon!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have been iron deficient so many times I could have had an iron suppliment named after me!. Liver is high in iron, as are beets!. Cooking all your food in an iron skillet is a must!. Grape wine, 1 oz!. 3-4 times a day for a couple of weeks just before meals and at bedtime!. My Dr!. had me do this when I was 13y/o, he was afraid I would get leukemia because my iron was so low!. I was also getting iron shots (which they don't have anymore) and taking iron pills!. Also conserve your energy!. I wasn't allowed to take phys!. ed!. I kept blacking out and falling down or up the steps at school!. I was bruised so bad my Dr!. thought my parents were beating me!. Are you taking iron suppliments!? If not, you need to!. You can buy them OTC at most pharmacies!. good luckWww@Answer-Health@Com

Iron isn't all that easy to absorb from plants!. Match your leafy greens with citrus, and lay off the calcium in the same meal!. The vitamin c will aid iron absorbtion, calcuim inhibits it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
