Is it possible for the implanted contraceptive 'implanon' to migrate to !

Question: Is it possible for the implanted contraceptive 'implanon' to migrate to your heart!?!?!?
Another ridiculous notion i want to prove my friend wrong about!.

Implanon is a contraceptive (for women) that is inserted just beneath your skin(arm), it is 4 cm long and 2mm diameter!.
http://en!.wikipedia!.org/wiki/Implanon

The person that his happened to required open heart surgery to remove it!.

Surely if this happened the product would be taken off the market, right!?!?

Also could you eve survive with a 4cm long 2mm dia!. bar in your heart!? Could it even work its way from your arm to heart!?!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
OMG no dont be daft!.
The implant would have to work its way in to one of the bigger blood vessels that take blood back to the heart, i!.e the inferior vena cava, or sub clavian veins!. It would then have to pass through valves in the heart that would cause your heart rhythm to fluctuate wildly and cause atrial fibrillation or cardiac arrest!. Trust me you cannot even fit the bar into the atrium of the heart and it would be IMPOSSIBLE for it to pass through the heart or to survive!.
The implants are placed into the fat layer of the dermis and there are no big veins there!. Basic biology books will explain this to your friend!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Maybe your friend got the wrong idea of the story!? Maybe the hormones in it affected the heart or something, but the actual stick would stay under the skin!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

nope
its not possible
