My resting heart rate is 108 bpm... should I be worried?!

Question: My resting heart rate is 108 bpm!.!.!. should I be worried!?
When I exercise I always overshoot the target heartrate almost immediately, so today I took my pulse!. Isn't 108 high for just sitting!? I wouldn't worry about it, except a couple times this past week I've felt my heartbeat change, like it skipped or switched rhythms, and I don't think that can be good either!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

When my heart rate was 108bpm resting I visited the doctors and they found a thyroid problem!. I would certainly look into this, but usually there are a lot more symptoms like just taking a few steps your heart starts palpitating, short of breath when just taking a few steps!. Best way to find out whats going on with your body is letting your doctor know about this so they can do the proper tests!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

try sitting a while before you take your pulse, say 10mins then count it again!. A resting heart beat should be between 60 and 70 bpm, while active heart rate is about 120 -150 bpm (depending on things like age, weight and height)!.
if it is still over 100bpm after recounting several times DEFINITELY go to a doctor as soon as possible!Www@Answer-Health@Com

108 is high!. GO see a doc!. Lots of heart conditions that it could be, and lots are benign, but some you need to do something about NOW!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
