Ear plug / protection question?!

Question: Ear plug / protection question!?
I'm currently working at a Hollister store, where apparently there are 80 to 90 decibels of music playing at all times!.
My question is if there are any highly discreet earplugs that anyone has had good luck with,
and also if these earplugs might make it hard for me to hear necessary speech from customers/coworkers!. Ideally I'd like to lower damage to my hearing while maintaining the ability to hear what is said around me!.
Thanks!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
I wear earplugs a lot because I'm sensitive to noise in general!. You should try them in the store!. They're not too noticeable, get the softest, skin colored ones you can find in the pharmacy!.

Here's the thing about speech!. Chances are, everyone's talking louder than normal in the store!. For real! So you might not have much trouble hearing!. Although if you do have a little, you have a couple of options!.!.!. You could wear only one earplug at a time!. Or you could combine what you do hear with lip reading!. Given the fact that you will hear something anyway, you may be surprised at how easy lip reading comes!.

Good luck!. You shouldn't have to sacrifice your hearing to make a living!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

There are special earplugs made especcially for musicians that allow you to hear all the frequencies, but lowers the decibels!. they cost like!.!.!. $40 for a set of 3!. (3 pairs, lol) but don't quote me on that!. we were learning about it in physics, so i don't remember that much, lol!. They are pretty discrete, they don't stick out of your ears or anything!. Ask your doctor about them , or go to a music store, and see if you can find something like that!.
good luck!

In Ontario, noise is a workplace hazard!. If you are routinely exposed to 70+ decibels, your employer must provide protection for you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Husher foam rubber ear plugs!. Cut them to size!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
