It's a very common problem!. There are really good treatments available now, just go and ask your pharmacist!. Everyone in your household needs to take them because they are very contagious!. No need to suffer any more, just get the drugs and you'll be free of them!. By the way, if you're emarrassed about asking the pharmacist, you could always blame your OH/ children/ flatmates!!!!!

Natural remedies may help to some extent but will probably not kill the worms and you are highly likely to have recurrent bouts!. I have heard that eating raw carrots can help (but you probably need to eat a lot of them) and eliminating sugary and processed foods is also helpful!. In practice this is very difficult!. Garlic is also reported to help although again you probably need to eat a lot!. I've even read somewhere that putting garlic in your socks can help! Although may make you a bit smelly!.

The great thing with anti-worm drugs is that very little actually gets absorbed into your blood stream!. There is no need for drugs to be absorbed by you so they haven't been designed to!. The drug just goes through your intestines, the worms injest it and die and the drug does no harm to you at all!. Very safe and VERY effective!.

Weather you go the drug route or the "natural route" you must follow rigorous hygiene during treatment as reinfection is common!. Vacuum and damp dust your bedroom and bathroom to remove any eggs!. Boil wash your sheets and towels, again to remove eggs!. Shower or bath first thing in the morning as the worms lay their eggs at night!. Make sure that you wear underpants in bed to prevent unconscious scratching in the night!. And obviously wash your hands frequently, especially after going to the loo and before eating!. It may be possible that these hygiene methods are enough!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

See a Doctor!! They have medicines that will kill the worms and not do harm to your body!. Anything 'over the counter' would be 'suspect' in my opinion!.

You could go to webmd!.com and see if they would have a 'cure', but, I would still advise to see a Doctor, just in case something that you 'take' may have drastic side affects and the Doctor can advise you on the liabilities and saftey of the medications!.

I wish you well!.!.!.
