Drug test for pre employment?!
Question: Drug test for pre employment!?
I was asked to do a drug test on my hair for pre employment!. I advise the person who was collecting the specimen that I am taking prescribed medicines; metformin and actos!. He looked at me and said I should told the manager who hired me what medicines I was on!. Does any of those medicines will show up positive!? If so,how can I prove to the manager that those medicines are a required part of my therapy!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It used to be that pre-employment drug tests came with a declaration sheet, on which you were supposed to write any prescription meds, OTC meds, vitamins, etc!.
Later, as the tests became more selective and accurate, they seem to have disappeared!. You might just let your boss know that you told the person about your prescriptions and thatn he said you should've told your boss, but I doubt you'll have any problems with it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
